Loss framed Incentives and Choice Architecture Modifications to Encourage Healthy Food Purchasing


Overview

This study will test two behavioral science approaches to increasing purchasing of healthy food. The team will test ways to modify the layout of the Instacart virtual food ordering platform to feature healthy food as well as making incentives for healthy food purchasing more salient to participants. The study will be conducted among patients with obesity and diabetes in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas of Philadelphia.
